The GreenCrafts Village

THE GLASTONBURY GREENCRAFTS VILLAGE
The Greencrafts Village at Glastonbury Festival has grown to be something of a cultural landmark. The biggest gathering of hands-on craftworks in Europe, returns once again, to engage your mind and body.
Old favourites and a plethora of new faces combine to offer a bustling showcase for the exceptional abilities of some of the finest independent craftspeople, all itching to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with you.
Additional to our daily Happy Hour when it is all free from 10-11am, you can ask for a quick go at something for free, if you want more (who doesn’t) workshops start at a couple of quid for a quick taste or you can immerse yourself completely in the magic of creating something that is truly yours, in a full range of materials, clay stone textiles wood glass copper iron or silver etc.
Woodchips and sparks dance to the pounding of hammers and mallets, whilst weavers turners knitters and stitchers offer their own creative rhythms.
All are welcome, old hands and new hands, as are children with accompanying adults, most workshops operate on a drop in basis, a few need to be booked in advance, check us out we are a Glastonbury must do….
Traditionally the first area up and running, cunningly situated below Kings Meadow and the Stone circle, it is a wicked spot to take time out, do something for yourself, enjoy the spirit and a stunning panoramic view across the entire festival.
