Formerly Havana's most glamorous cinema, The Lost Picture Show appears to have fallen into disrepair. But behind the crumbling facade lies a classical 1920s picture palace of overflowing luxury and not a little decadence, complete with opulent velvet seating, glittering chandeliers and a lavish cocktail lounge.
The revolution may have swept out the corrupt aristocracy who used to frequent the theatre, but all the luxurious accoutrements remain: as the screen flickers with overwrought romance, gun-slinging epics and revolutionary propaganda, usherettes flit from table to table, offering Cuba Libres and Mojitos.
So take a step back in time, put up your feet and viva la revolucion!
