Shangri-La’s Contemporary Art at Festivals programme has become one of the most significant festival arts programmes in the UK, spreading to festivals like Secret Garden, the Olympic East London and beyond.   Supported by the Arts Council of England, its aim is to bring more high-caliber visual artists to festivals, raising artistic quality and broadening audiences.   Artists include: Tim Etchells, Dan Coopey, Tai Shani, Blast Theory and Jim Woodall and Brian Random

"Building on the success of last year’s commissions, our aim is to push the boundaries of what both artists and audience expect to experience from festivals. We have a huge number of artists in Shangri-La and are very fortunate to also have work by contributing artists including Shepard Faery, Dr D, Carrie Reichart and Teddy Baden, and a field-wide bespoke sound installation by Nik Diezel.
